MD. Zillur Rahim Chowdhury Managing Director & CEO (CC)

Md. Zillur Rahim Chowdhury had started his career in the AB Bank as Probationary Officer since 1992. He served there till 2004 and then join in the Trust Bank Limited .He worked there as Sr.Executive Vice President (SEVP) till Joining GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh) Limited.He was the director of the Trust Bank Investments Limited from 2014 to March 2017.Mr. Chowdhury is holding Master Degree in Management from University of Dhaka. He participated various types of works, seminars and workshops in India Malaysia, Singapore and USA. At Present he is working as Managing Director & CEO (CC) in GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh) Limited.

Mr. Abu Zafar Hedaytul Islam Adviser

Mr. Abu Zafar Hedaytul Islam is the Adviser of GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh) Limited. Prior to this assignment Mr. Islam was Managing Director & CEO of GSP Finance. He was also Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Trust Bank Limited.

A post graduate in Economics from the University of Dhaka, started his Banking career in 1986 as a probationary officer with IFIC Bank Limited. During 37 years career he also served in Eastern Bank Limited. He attended a number of workshop & seminars at home and abroad. He is a widely travelled man and visited countries like USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, Italy, UK, Holland, Austria, Malaysia, Singapore, UAE, Bahrain and India.

Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman is serving in GSPB as a Deputy Managing Director and Company Secretary. Mr. Mizan is playing in significant role as a member of GSPB Corporate Leadership Team, Corporate Executive Committee, in upholding the financial discipline, corporate governance and company affairs matter. Mr. Mizan joined in GSPB on 25th September 2001. Mr. Mizan is a qualified Chartered Secretary and Chartered Certified Accountant. He did his Master of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Dhaka and Master of Business Administration from the same University, he also completed LLB and LLM from a reputed University.

Asif Rahman General Manager
Marketing

Mr. Rahman joined GSPB on August 28, 2019.

Mr. Rahman holds an MBA (Executive Program) in Finance from Institution of Business Administration, University of Dhaka. He has seventeen years of experience in different reputed FIs in varied fields such as Marketing, Recovery, Special Asset Management, Legal and Branch Management.

Zeenat Alam Deputy General Manager
Marketing

Ms. Zeenat Alam, joined in GSP Finance Co. (Bangladesh) Limited in 2003 as a Management Trainee Officer. She is responsible for the Credit function of GSPB as Deputy General Manager. In addition she is also responsible for the Sales team of GSPB.

She has completed her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) & Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB).

Mohammad Shazzad Hossain Deputy General Manager
Head of Sales (Deposit & SME)

Mr. Shazzad Hossain, joined GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh) Limited in August, 2012 as Head of Sales. He has worked in Standard Chartered as Assistant Sales Manager of CTB (Consumer Transaction of Banking) & SME-Deposit. He started his career with Standard Chartered since July, 2001.

He is responsible for managing and monitoring the Deposit and SME Sales Team of GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh) Limited.

He has completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. Degree in Chemistry. He has also completed Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from a reputed university.

Md. Wahidul Islam DGM and CFO

Mr. Md Wahidul Islam obtained his master degree from the National University of Bangladesh in Accounting; He also completed the Chartered Accountancy Knowledge Level from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He is also registered with National Board of Revenue as an income Tax Practitioner.

After obtaining honors degree in Accounting under same university he had started his career as an articled student in A. Wahab & Co., Chartered Accountants in 2008.

He had joined Opsonin Pharma Limited in 2011 in their Finance and Accounts department as Executive (F&A).

Mr. Wahid joined GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh) Limited in 2013 and worked under different capacity and role. He has taken over the charges of Chief Financial Officer in 2017.

His key proficiency contains financial reporting, financial management, strategic planning, budget & forecasting, tax planning, financial & business analysis, control & compliance, policy development etc.

During his professional career, he has attended various training courses, seminars and workshops on core risk management, good governance, AML & CFT, auditing, taxation, budgeting, financial control & reporting etc.
