Md. Mustafizur Rahman leverages 24 years of experience in banking, honed across multinational and leading private banks. He began his career in 2000 at ANZ Grindlays Bank, then progressed through positions of increasing responsibility at HSBC, Eastern Bank Ltd., Bank Asia Ltd., and most recently, The City Bank Ltd. There, he served as Senior Vice President and played a pivotal role in the success of the Retail Banking transformation team. Mr. Rahman holds a Master of International Trade and Business (MITB) from the University of Dhaka, an MBA from East West University, and boasts relevant industry certifications like the ACBA from IBA, University of Dhaka and the CEEB from BIBM.

Mr. Rahman joined GSPB on August 28, 2019.

Mr. Rahman holds an MBA (Executive Program) in Finance from Institution of Business Administration, University of Dhaka. He has seventeen years of experience in different reputed FIs in varied fields such as Marketing, Recovery, Special Asset Management, Legal and Branch Management.

Ms. Zeenat Alam, joined in GSP Finance Co. (Bangladesh) Limited in 2009 as a Management Trainee Officer. She is responsible for the Credit function of GSPB as Deputy General Manager. In addition she is also responsible for the Sales team of GSPB.

She has completed her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) & Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB).

Mr. Md. Wahidul Islam has more than sixteen years experience in finance and accounts, internal control and compliance, planning and budgeting, and risk management within the various sectors.

He had commenced his journey with GSPB in 2013 and has held various roles before the position of Chief Financial Officer in 2021. Additionally, he serves as the Chief Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer (CAMLCO) of GSPB.

He obtained his master’s degree from Dhaka College in Accounting; He also completed the Chartered Accountancy Knowledge Level from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He is also registered with National Board of Revenue as an Income Tax Practitioner (ITP).

Prior to his tenure at GSPB he worked with Opsonin Pharma Limited and A. Wahab & Co., Chartered Accountants at various roles and capacities.

His key proficiency includes financial reporting, financial management, strategic planning, assets-liability management, budget & forecasting, tax planning, financial & business analysis, control & compliance, policy development etc.

With over 20 years of expertise in branch banking, retail banking, SME banking & corporate banking, Mr. Rony is a highly accomplished financial professional. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager, Marketing at GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh) Limited, He drives strategic initiatives to foster growth and operational excellence.

Mr. Rony holds a Master’s in Management and an MBA from a reputed university. He began his career in 2004 with Standard Chartered Bank as a relationship manager and has since held key roles at Eastern Bank Limited, BRAC Bank Limited and IIDFC Plc, gaining extensive experience in customer engagement, financial solutions and business operations.
